As long as you are fit and well to do so, you can still have sex. You cannot catch leukaemia through sex.
There may be times when you don’t want sex. You may feel differently about sex after treatment. For some people, achieving a fulfilling sex life after you’ve had treatment (or if you are living with leukaemia) means finding new ways of giving and receiving pleasure. The aim of this booklet is to be honest and open with patients and your loved ones.
We have tried to answer many of the common questions online. The following material is very sexually explicit. It is extremely frank and uses a fair amount of direct phrasing and descriptions of specific sexual acts and practices.
Please note - this is a digital download only and you will not receive a hardcopy through the post.
