Stem cell transplants for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL)
Stem cell transplants for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL)
A stem cell transplant (SCT) provides healthy bone marrow stem cells to leukaemia patients. Leukaemia cells arise from altered bone marrow cells. In general, the bone marrow makes healthy blood cells. Replacing your impaired blood cells is meant to help put your leukaemia in remission. If you have any questions about this ALL treatment - this booklet covers the basics for you.
Please note - this is a digital download only and you will not receive a hardcopy through the post.
