Adults and children with Down’s syndrome prefer to be referred to as "a person with Down’s syndrome" rather than "a Down’s person" or "a Down’s" as they are individuals first and foremost. Down’s syndrome (DS) can increase the risk of a wide range of medical problems, including leukaemia. If you have any questions about Down’s syndrome and leukaemia – the risk of developing leukaemia, symptoms, diagnosis and possible treatments - this booklet covers the basics for you.
Please note - this is a digital download only and you will not receive a hardcopy through the post.
